Immigration
Immigrants are in the US legally and are welcome. Illegal aliens are not abiding by the laws of America, are here illegally, and taking American jobs and sending money back to their host countries. My reform program is basically a staged visa system done legally. The law should initially require all to self-report. Once self-reported, then the person can apply for a visa (different types available, i.e. work visa, school visa, artistic, movie, or fiancé visa). There would be a screening process for all visas. Once vetted, one can apply for the next level of visa until down the line getting approved for a permanent resident alien visa.
Abortion
ABORTION – We must stop the dynasty of Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton. We must put a stop to the 1.2 million abortions done each year to innocent babies. I believe that life starts at conception and should be protected by law.
Healthcare
We must repeal Obamacare and replace it with an insurance reform bill that lowers the healthcare price tag. Healthcare should fix an arm and a leg not cost an arm and a leg. There is tremendous fraud and abuse in healthcare and needs to be stopped. My healthcare plan would save the government one-third of our healthcare costs yearly all the while promoting quality care and access to a physician. At the core, the plan works with hospital systems and insurance plans to manage the costs of procedures not limiting access. Evidence shows that one insurance system (Calphers) in California saved 5.5 million dollars a year on just one procedure. Applying the same principle could save billions yearly on our healthcare costs and end-of-life expenditures.
Economy
We need to balance the budget and stimulate the economy with lower or no taxes to small businesses and individuals to create jobs and promote a “healthy” economy. My economic plan starts with tax reform. I believe the USA can save 200-300 billion in just IRS wages alone. I would like to introduce a package that does not tax individuals and monetarily sets a consumption tax (now 8.25% goes to 12.5-14.5 %). There may be opposition to the consumption tax so an alternative is a flat tax on income around 10% for everyone except corporations.
